Tom Colicchio

Tom Colicchio founded Craft Restaurants in 2001 and opened the first 'Wichcraft with Sisha in 2003. Tom grew up in Elizabeth, New Jersey and taught himself how to cook during his youth. Tom cooked at prominent NYC restaurants such as Mondrian and the Quilted Giraffe before opening Gramercy Tavern in 1994 with Danny Meyer. He has received five James Beard Awards in recognition for his culinary accomplishments. He became a celebrity chef when he began appearing on Bravo’s cooking series “Top Chef,” which won an Emmy award in 2010. Recently, tom produced a place at the table, a documentary about food insecurity in the United States. Tom’s passion for food has touched everything at 'Wichcraft.
